New arrival in SanStore: bentonite and acrylic cords for waterproofing
In October 2026, a new batch of bentonite and acrylic hydrophilic cords for sealing working and cold joints of concreting arrived at SanStore.
These are materials that, when in contact with water, increase in volume and seal the installation site, preventing moisture from penetrating through the joints and joints of concrete structures.
Bentonite cord is a material based on natural bentonite. It is used for waterproofing joints in foundations, basements, underground structures, as well as for sealing the passage of engineering communications.
In the SanStore assortment:
- 10×20 mm — 10 m coil;
- 15×25 mm — 7 m coil;
Acrylic hydrophilic cord PRONIL ACR-300 is a swelling polymer sealant that does not contain bentonite. It is used for sealing construction joints and joints in concrete structures, in particular under conditions of repeated wetting and drying.
In the SanStore assortment:
- 10×20 mm — 10 m roll.
Both types of cords are installed before pouring the next section of concrete. The material and size are selected according to the design of the unit and operating conditions.
