EPE sealing cord is a modern insulation material made of expanded polyethylene. It is widely used in construction, engineering systems installation, and renovation work. The primary purpose of the material is sealing joints, expansion gaps, and interfaces between various structures.

Due to its closed-cell structure, this material absorbs virtually no moisture, possesses low thermal conductivity, and retains its properties over a long service life. Where is the Sealing Cord Applied?

  1. Small diameters (6–8 mm). The optimal solution for filling, leveling, and sealing expansion joints in concrete and industrial floors, as well as narrow technological gaps.
  2. Medium diameters (10–15 mm). Used for sealing joints when cladding walls with lining boards (to compensate for thermal expansion), sealing connections during plumbing installation, and insulating installation joints around door frames and window units.
  3. Large diameters (20–60 mm). Used for comprehensive insulation and waterproofing of interpanel joints (including external walls of residential and industrial buildings), insulating bridge joints, and as shaping elements in upholstered furniture manufacturing.
