Description

Spiky drainage membrane with geotextile Gidrostop GEO (500 + 100 g/m²) is a geocomposite roll material made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which provides reliable hydro- and mechanical protection of building structures. The material has a profiled surface with molded spikes that create an effective drainage channel. The outer side of the spikes is covered with a filtering layer of polypropylene (PP) geotextile, fixed by thermal bonding. This ensures a strong and durable connection of the two layers of material, eliminating the risk of delamination during operation.

The membrane has high resistance to compression, chemicals, biological effects and root growth. Thanks to these properties, it works effectively in both vertical and horizontal systems. In vertical applications, it protects waterproofing layers from damage caused by backfilling and soil pressure. In horizontal applications, it provides safe, continuous water drainage and uniform load distribution, reducing the risk of point deformations.

Scope of application

The spike-shaped profiled membrane with geotextile Gidrostop GEO is used in civil, industrial and hydraulic engineering for the comprehensive protection of underground structures. It effectively protects waterproofing coatings and thermal insulation materials from mechanical damage, the influence of capillary moisture and soil pressure.

The membrane is used for the installation of drainage systems, protection of foundation slabs, waterproofing of blind areas, inversion roofs, rehabilitation of damp walls, as well as as a separating and protective layer when preparing the base for the foundation. In the absence of groundwater, it can perform the function of the main waterproofing of basement walls or foundations.
