As part of the construction of a large-scale infrastructure facility — the Podilskyi Bridge over the Dnieper River in the city of Kyiv — a comprehensive solution based on a volumetric geogrid and thermally bonded geotextile with a density of 150 g/m² and a width of 5 m was used to strengthen the slopes.
The combination of these materials allows for effective soil stabilization, prevention of its displacement and erosion, as well as ensuring reliable strengthening of slopes and durability of the structure. Geotextiles perform the functions of separating and reinforcing soil layers, and the volumetric geogrid creates a spatial structure that holds the aggregate and increases the stability of the reinforced surface.
Materials for the project were supplied by SANSTORE, providing the facility with high-quality geosynthetic solutions for performing complex engineering tasks.
Another large-scale project where SANSTORE's modern geosynthetic materials help create reliable and durable infrastructure in Ukraine.
