Thermobonded geotextile TM Fibertex is a nonwoven fabric made of high-quality polypropylene by thermal bonding of fibers. The production technology of Fibertex geotextile is based on a two-stage process. First, polyethylene granules are converted into fibers under the influence of high temperature. In the second stage, polypropylene fibers are processed immediately on a carding machine, then on a needle-punching machine. Polymer threads are laid horizontally, and due to further puncture with a needle, they are fastened in the vertical direction, resulting in a strong and at the same time flexible fabric.
