The pipe in a radiant heating/cooling system can be secured using a variety of methods and materials.
The main purpose of fasteners is to ensure secure attachment of the pipe and proper placement on the floor. Here are some typical methods for fastening pipes in a water-based underfloor heating system:

1. Anchor bracket –This is the most common method of securing pipes. This type of fastener is made of plastic and provides secure hold for pipes with a diameter of 16 mm or 20 mm. This type of fastener only works in conjunction with special mats made of foam or extruded polystyrene foam. However, anchor-type clamps can be labor-intensive, as the clamps must be carefully secured to the base.

2. If you're using a rigid floor or wall surface (without insulation), a mounting strip is a suitable option. It has special slots for pipes with a diameter of 16 or 20 mm. The presence of butt grooves at both ends allows you to connect sections of any length to each other.
3. Some radiant heating/cooling systems use special panels or mats with built-in grooves or channels (e.g., FRAGMAT Underfloor Heating Panel). Pipes are laid in these grooves or channels, ensuring their securement and proper placement on the floor. This method simplifies the installation process and ensures even heat distribution across the floor, allowing for quick and easy placement of pipes without the need for separate fastening or adjustments.
The FRAGMAT underfloor heating panel is a thermoformed panel made from a 1mm thick rigid polystyrene film, which ensures uniform placement of the underfloor heating pipe and helps ensure efficient heat transfer.

Three types of panels are produced:
FRAGMAT SOLO - A panel made of rigid polystyrene film (PS) 1 mm thick. Without insulation.
FRAGMAT DUO 11 – It consists of high-strength expanded polystyrene (EPS) with a height of 11 mm and a hard polystyrene film (PS) with a thickness of 0.6 mm.
FRAGMAT DUO 30 – consists of high-strength expanded polystyrene (EPS) with a height of 30 mm and a hard polystyrene film (PS) with a thickness of 0.6 mm.
