Description

BENTOCARPET is a modern geosynthetic bentonite clay liner (GCL) used to create an effective waterproofing and seepage barrier in construction, environmental, and infrastructure projects.


The material consists of a uniformly distributed layer of high-quality sodium bentonite granules placed between layers of woven and non-woven geotextiles. All components are securely bonded using a needle-punched process, ensuring high mechanical strength, resistance to displacement, and durability of the system.


Bentonite weight (at 10% moisture content) - 5000 g/m2


The main active component is bentonite with a montmorillonite content of at least 85%, which swells intensively upon contact with water, forming a dense, impermeable layer. This allows BENTOCARPET to create a self-healing hydraulic barrier even under challenging operating conditions.
