EVA underlay for laminate and parquet, 3 mm (1x30 m), black

SanStore EVA 3 mm — black roll underlay for laminate and engineered wood flooring installed without being glued to the subfloor. It creates a resilient intermediate layer between the prepared floor and the flooring, helps reduce impact noise from footsteps, and makes the floor more comfortable to use.

The underlay is made of foamed EVA — ethylene-vinyl acetate. This is an elastic polymer material that is easy to unroll, cut and install. The 3 mm thickness allows you to increase the overall floor height to a minimum. A roll measuring 1 × 30 m covers 30 m², excluding cutting waste.

Installation

1. Prepare the subfloor: level it, remove dust and allow it to dry. The underlay does not replace floor levelling.
2. Provide a vapour barrier if required by the flooring manufacturer for your subfloor.
3. Unroll the underlay in a single layer. Lay the strips edge to edge without overlapping, cutting the material to fit the room. If necessary, secure the joints with installation tape.
4. Install the laminate or engineered wood flooring, connecting the planks according to the manufacturer's instructions.
5. Leave the required expansion gaps around walls, pipes and columns so that the flooring can expand and contract as temperature and humidity change.
