The PO-2 waterstop is designed and used to seal and prevent water penetration into moving joints in monolithic construction.
It is used on a variety of objects: from foundations to subway tunnels.
It is mounted directly into the body of the reinforcing cage before pouring the concrete mortar. The hydraulic wedge has been widely used in hydraulic structures, such as dams, weirs, reservoirs, canals, locks, water intake structures and hydroelectric power plants, as well as for sealing joints in foundations, tunnels, multi-storey car parks and other underground structures.
The PO-2 series waterstops have a U-shaped shape, which makes it possible to precisely install the waterstops in the desired position. The ribs on the locking plane prevent moisture from penetrating into the structure. The PO series waterstops are repair waterstops, single-sided , which are used for waterproofing expansion joints when combined with existing concrete structures.
