Waterproofing wedge P-3 made of EPDM for expansion joints, roll 20 m.p.
The P-3 hydro-shponka is designed and used to seal and prevent water penetration into moving joints in monolithic construction.
It is used on a variety of objects: from foundations to subway tunnels.
It is mounted directly into the body of the reinforcing cage before pouring the concrete mortar. The hydraulic wedge has been widely used in hydraulic structures, such as dams, weirs, reservoirs, canals, locks, water intake structures and hydroelectric power plants, as well as for sealing joints in foundations, tunnels, multi-storey car parks and other underground structures.
P series hydraulic plugs have a U-shaped shape, which makes it possible to precisely install the hydraulic plugs in the desired position. The ribs on the locking plane prevent moisture from penetrating into the structure. P series hydraulic plugs have double-sided ribs, are used in places where expansion joints of monolithic reinforced concrete structures are located, and in especially important structures are supplemented with an internal or lower external hydraulic plug.
Main advantages:
• ensures reliable embedment in concrete structure.
• the ribbed surface guarantees tightness, preventing moisture from penetrating.
• deformation zones allow the hydraulic wedge to compensate for movements of reinforced concrete structures without losing tightness.
• used to seal joints between two concrete structures.
• in critical structures, the possibility of additional use of an internal hydraulic key is provided.
• meets high requirements for structural tightness.
