Foamed polyethylene (PE) with foil coating
Foamed polyethylene is a modern gas-filled heat and sound insulation material with a closed cellular structure. It is produced by foaming polyethylene granules with a butane-propane mixture. It is available in both basic versions and with additional coatings: laminated or foiled.
Advantages:
- Increased reflective ability.
- Easy to install and resistant to damage.
- Effective thermal insulation in "warm floor" systems.
Foil cloth made of PPE
Foiled fabric is foamed polyethylene, additionally covered with 3 μm thick aluminum foil. This coating enhances the heat and vapor barrier properties of the material and expands its functionality.
Application area of foil PPE:
- Steam and heat insulation under floor coverings.
- The basis for "warm floors" - water and electric.
- Insulation and soundproofing of pipelines and air ducts.
- Thermal insulation of equipment and technical premises.
- Reducing vibration and noise under industrial and household equipment.
- Displays the screen behind heating radiators to improve energy efficiency.
- It is used in the construction of frame houses and for insulating walls, roofs, and floors.
Advantages:
- High heat reflectivity (up to 95% of thermal radiation).
- Protection against condensation and steam formation.
- Flexibility and ease of installation.
- Resistance to aggressive environments and durability.
